Freshman general education English exemption

Exemption criteria : Guidelines on the Exemption from Required General English Courses.pdf

Exemption process : 

  1. 1. Apply through the application information system from the first week of the semester.
  2. 2. Fill out the exemption application form and upload an electronic copy of the original English proficiency test score or certificate.
  3. 3. Review will take 3 to 7 business days. Once approved, the course will be automatically dropped by the system in the third week.
  4. 4. The final transcript will show an 'E' for that subject.

* After successfully applying for exemption, you must still take other courses to make up for the credits.


Exemption for sophomore general education English

Exemption criteria : 

  1. 1. International students whose official language or lingua franca is English.
  2. 2. English proficiency certification with CEFR level at C1.

  3. Exemption process :
  4. 1. Written review Qualification Review on the Exemption from Required General English Courses in the Sophomore Year.docx
  5. 2. Oral exam
  6. * If the information does not match, the student cannot participate in the English proficiency interview

Digital Distance Learning Class

✎For Students in Their Third Year and Above

✎No In-person Classes Required


※The registration method is to select courses through the Application Information System.

※Classes are available every semester, as well as during winter and summer vacations.

※All classes require in-person exams at the main campus.

※This standard does not apply to the departments of the International College, the Department of Applied English, the Medical Department, and the Bachelor’s Degree Program in English.
