ISU Common Core
The ISU Common Core focuses on four key themes: "Sustainable Development," "Diversity and Inclusion," "Life Exploration," and "Artistic Innovation." To facilitate systematic coursework, the liberal arts curriculum is categorized according to these themes, serving as a starting point for interdisciplinary learning. Centered on global citizenship literacy, the curriculum explores global issues—including DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion), SDGs/ESG, and other significant contemporary global topics.
